ABA FELLOWSHIP

THIS APPLICATION IS FOR THE GRADUATE FELLOWSHIP POSITION AT SBH 

PROGRAM IS 1-2 YEARS DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF PREVIOUSLY ACCRUED HOURS.  

Graduate fellows will accrue restricted and unrestricted hours throughout their academic program and will be admitted in cohorts. During the fellowship, fellows will have the opportunity to maintain a small caseload under the supervision of their consulting BCBA. Each graduate fellow will be paired with a BCBA on site for ongoing supervision and mentorship. Space in each cohort will be limited to the number of BCBAs as well as the current number of graduate fellows. 

Following BCBA certification, graduate fellows may have the opportunity to remain on staff in a case management position following an interview process should a BCBA position be available, and receive the first year consultation with a BCBA on site. 

*Position as a RBT does not guarantee selection as a graduate fellow, nor as a Case manager/BCBA following the graduate fellowship

• Must be employed with SBH for at least 90 days *may apply prior to this point but acceptance is dependent on full term at the start of the cohort applying for 

• Must be currently enrolled in master’s program or BCBA certificate program *or set to start in the fall/spring applying for

• Complete application and interview process

• Must maintain at 3.5 min GPA throughout fellowship

The Board was founded in 2023 to increase the caliber of ongoing graduate studies & practicum experience for individuals pursuing BCBA certification through a master’s program. The graduate fellowship is designed to prepare these individuals for high performance in the field upon graduation & preparation for the exam. It is a highly competitive cohort each semester that is selected following a rigorous interview process. 

The Board is comprised of senior leadership across both clinic locations has a combined clinical experience in the field of ABA of nearly 50 years. They are passionate about teaching and training the next generation of behavior analysts, and are dedicated to ensuring they maintain the standard of excellence that SBH expects as the fellows further their careers.

Board Member requirements:

Must hold at minimum Bachelor's degree and BCaBA certification; Master’s and BCBA preferred

Must have minimum 3 years experience at current certification level

Must have completed Supervision requirements from the BACB

Appointments to the board are made annually.
